Vintage Carnival Tickets As Cool Wall Art DIY

I never would have thought to use a roll of useless tickets as a DIY wall art project.  A black and white photograph would look nice with the tickets.  How about a newspaper add with whichever event comes to mind.  Mine goes to a carnival or circus.  Thanks to City Suburb Sanity for the neat idea.

Last time I was at the flea market, I saw this stack of old tickets. Something about them called out to me… I’m a sucker for all things graphic and vintage and 10 dollar-ish. One of the things I love about graphic art is that it provides interesting wall decor without introducing a whole new color pallet. Our master bedroom needed something between these two windows, but it had to be neutral to accommodate the rest of the pattern in the space.

Thanks to my $10-ish tickets and my favorite Ikea Ribba frame, this fun wall art was born!
