Sweet Metal Garden Markers DIY

These DIY metal garden makers are cute and simple.  The instructions call for metal flashing but metal from a soda can would work just as well.  You can make these any size you like.  Just make sure to wear protective gloves because that metal is sharp (I know from experience).  Thanks to Sweet Pea for the idea.

 I’ve had all sorts of herb markers over the years and one by one, they’ve disappeared.  I guess I’ll find them one of these days in the soil or under mulch.  I decided that it would be fun to make my own markers.

To make the markers I used roof flashing left over from a long ago craft project.  I traced circles on the flashing and cut them out with tin snips.
