Make Your Own Drawer Pulls from Anything
Looking for unique or one-of-a kind drawer pulls? When you shop for them they’re the same as everyone else’s and not very imaginative, not to mention quite expensive. Here’s a way that you can repurpose things you have around your house, or even toys, as shown in our feature picture, into drawer pulls for your kitchen, bathroom, or bedroom.
With an eye for how something may look on your drawers, take a look around and see what you can find. Little cutsey ceramic figurines or salt shakers are great to use. The pulls in the picture show rubber toys that were spray painted gold, which are adorable. Look around dollar stores for things you could use. They’re pretty cheap and if you mess up the first couple of times, it’s not much out of your pocket. Plastic objects will be easier to start with because they’re easier to drill into.
Items you will need for this project:
- Gorilla glue
- Drill
- Hanger bolts, washers, and nuts
- Item you are using for a pull
