Make a Lavender Wreath

Lavender is one of my favorite herbs. Not only is it beautiful but it smells heavenly. It’s well known for its calming effects and is used frequently for a restful sleep. The flowers are a light purple when dried and they make a very pretty wreath. You could hang it on your door or indoors to decorate or  in a relaxing area of your home.

All you will need to start is a wire coat hanger and some fresh or dried lavender. Depending on where you live you may have that nearby and can cut it. If not, you can find it online and it’s not expensive.

You need:  dried lavender, scissors, a wire hanger, and twine or thin wire

Start by bending your hanger into a circle. The lavender will cover the hanger hook and it will be easy to hang when finished.
