Large color Field Canvas Art
This may look a little daunting but it’s actually an easy process. Probably the most difficult part is working out your pattern. Start by drawing on a blank piece of paper and experimenting with different geometric designs. Once you have that then play around with your colors until you get the look you want. You’ll use thin painters tape to lay out your design on the canvas and then you can start painting with acrylic paint.
The canvas in this picture is quite large, 60″ by 36″ and you can see that it fills the blank wall and makes a very bold statement. It’s a great way to add color to a room so don’t be afraid of doing this project on a large scale.
