DIY Glass Shelves To Spice Up Your Kitchen Window

These DIY glass shelves makes use of the window above your kitchen sink.  This is such a great way to sun your plants and make your kitchen warm and inviting.  If you aren’t blessed with a green thumb these DIY glass shelves would be perfect for showing off colored glass objects.  Pretty Handy Girl is a pretty handy girl!

I love african violets! They can be fickle, but once they have the right amount of light, and slightly damp soil, they will happily put on a show for you. My violets used to perch on the kitchen window sill, but occasionally they would take a suicidal nose dive into the sink. To save them from inevitable death one day, I installed two glass shelves over the sink.
