DIY Fun Acorns Made From A Book Page
Here is another fun craft for the kids this Thanksgiving break. These DIY acorns would be great as a classroom project as well. You could use newspaper, magazines, or printed computer paper instead of a page from a book. I think using the comics would be really cute. A great keepsake to hang on the Christmas tree. Thanks to Curtain Queen Creates for the easy project idea.
Did you enjoy the acorn pillow I shared with you yesterday? Acorns are so big this year, I have a feeling the craze might blend over into Christmas season – like the Tartan Plaid Craze from last year. What fun that was!
I’ve seen all types of acorns this year. Have you noticed all the acorns around blogland and Pinterest? Or, is it just me having a major crush?
Home decor covered with book pages are always high on my list, so I decided my acorns needed a little torn page DIY.
I used plastic Easter eggs as the base. First, I covered the fat end with twine. Hot glue worked great for that.
