Crazy Good Chocolate Chip Cookies With Bacon And Maple Syrup DIY

Unique cookie recipe #6.  A DIY chocolate chip cookie recipe that includes bacon AND maple syrup sounds extremely intriguing and tasty.  I wonder if you could count this as breakfast, like pancakes or waffles.  I’m going to say yes.  Plus, everything is better with bacon.  Thanks to Cooking Channel for the unusual recipe.

ingredients

 BACON:

• 12 bacon slices, minced

• 1/4 cup maple syrup

 BATTER:

• 1 cup unsalted butter, large dice
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup raw sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 2 cups all-purpose flour

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 1 1/2 cups quality milk chocolate, in chip-sized chunks

• Flaky sea salt, such as Mald
