Colorful Braided Rug from Upcycled T-Shirts

Making a braided rug is very easy to do, it just takes time. The most time-consuming part is cutting the strips and then when adding and merging in new strips.

Instructions:

Cut your shirts into strips. Don’t try to cut them too long or it becomes a hassle. The width of a shirt is about the right length.

Place 3 strips of different colors on top of each other, with one end lined up. Tie them into a knot at the end and then begin to braid. Watch this video to see that looks and how to get it started.

It may look a little tricky but once you get started the process just repeats itself.
