Colorful Braided Rug from Upcycled T-Shirts

Need a beautiful, colored rug for your home? This is an easy project to make and the end result is one you’ll enjoy for a long time. Anyone can make one, unless you can’t braid, because that’s all it takes, other than cutting your shirts into strips.

Obviously you can make your rug any size you want. You’re only limited by how much material you have. One thing that will make it even more fun is to make it with friends, as you each make your own. Even better is to enjoy a bottle of wine as you do!

Materials Needed:

Soft jersey shirts (no thin t-shirts)

Good scissors
