Adorable Reading Or Study Nook For Your Kids DIY

This DIY reading or study nook for kids is a great idea especially if you don’t have room for a desk.  I know my son, who ended up with the small room, would love to have a space like this.  I just wish I had seen this idea sooner.  Thanks to Dawn Nicole Designs for the great idea.

This DIY Kid’s Room Reading Nook was a really easy and inexpensive way to add some character to our daughters’ room. Read on for all the details on how we put it together including the Ana White plans we used for the DIY Book Shelves (which cost about $10!).

One of the many things I never realized parenthood would mean is how crazy awesome it is to watch your kids learn to read on their own. In this technology-crazy world, I hope we can find a way to teach them balance…too love books as much (or more!) than iPads and Xboxes.
