A DIY Patio Umbrella Stand That Spruces Up Your Backyard

We’ve all seen barrels used for flowers before but never for an umbrella base.  If you are having a Labor Day gathering these DIY umbrella stands could be placed around the yard to create several intimate sitting areas for chatting on a hot day.  Let’s see that sun shine!  The Southern Institute gave us this idea.
