A Cute Popcorn Ornament DIY

Can you imagine how cute a Christmas tree would be with only these DIY popcorn ornaments and a berry garland?  Maybe add some little birds and pinecones to the branches?  It’s clever how the popcorn gets inside the ornament.  Thank you to Crafts A La Mode for this fun and sweet idea.

The popcorn was NOT put into the glass ball AFTER it was popped.

The popcorn was put in BEFORE it was popped.

That’s where the fun starts.

Put 1 tablespoon of popcorn kernels in a GLASS ornament ball.

(It HAS to be a glass ball because a plastic ball will melt.

I bought the glass balls at Michael’s Crafts Store.)

Don’t put the metal cap on the ornament. Instead, put the glass ball with the unpopped popcorn in it in a brown lunch bag and twist the bag shut.
