4. Sliding Canopy Tracks the Sun
This canopy is adjustable. The panels slide to change position to provide shade as the sun changes course. It was sold on Hammer Schlemmer for $400 but is no longer available. With a little ingenuity you could use this design idea to make one.
5. Hanging shade Canopy
Isn’t this beautiful? It uses bamboo poles and hollow metal tubes, and the flower pots are painted and filled with concrete. There is a tutorial on Vtwonen but you will need to translate the site into English. It’s easy to do. In Chrome, right click on the page and then click on Translate to English. There is also a pictorial of the steps.
